NALNC Local Chapters

Getting Started:

To start a Local NALNC Chapter, you must present an application and the required fee.  After the fee is paid, you will receive the application, instructions and guidelines. 

Cost:

NALNC Local Chapter Set-up Fees:

Small Chapters (50 members or less) - $750 (for the first year)
Large Chapters (unlimited members, credit card payment page and listing with NALNC) $1,250
Local Chapter Annual Fee: $300

 

Once your order is received, you will be provided with a complete package to operate and manage your local chapter, including:

  • Local Chapter By Laws
  • Local Chapter Mission Statement
  • Tips on how to Host a Local Chapter/Regional Conference
  • Chapter Web Site (and 10 email accounts for local board members)
  • Guidelines on use of the Local Chapter Logo
  • How to submit chapter news
  • How to update your chapter directory listing
  • Mailing list of potential local members
  • Marketing Information and Materials to Support your Local Chapter

Local Chapters may charge membership fees, apply for grants, request donations and organize local events.  All fees belong to the Local Chapter and are paid to the Local Chapter President.

Your Local Chapter Website is a 10-page website that is fully operational (you can edit the website as necessary).  The 10-page website consists of the following template pages:

  • Home (Introduction) page
  • Local Chapter Mission Statement
  • Local Chapter By Laws
  • Local Chapter Board Members (includes Board Members Bio/Photo/Email & Contact Info)
  • Local Chapter News
  • Become a Member
  • Message Board
  • Members Only
  • Resources
  • Contact page (with contact form)
  • Credit Card Payment page (included in the $1,250 package free, or add $300 to the $750 package)
