Will utilize clinical expertise to assist staff in developing skills with periop patients Will coordinate training with Surgical Services Educator.
Minimum Requirements: Recent experience with perioperative patients and demonstrated assessment skills and nursing interventions with this population. Ability to develop curriculum for staff learning. Knowledge of JCAHO standards, proficiency with Microsoft applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience with presenting to large and small groups. Demonstrated ability in developing teams and facilitation skills. Must demonstrate warmth, cultural competence and responsiveness to customer needs. Passing a background check as well as a drug screen is required for all external hires.
